Freshwater Curated Goods is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Augusta, Georgia.
This role is ideal for someone who loves graphic design, email marketing, website merchandising, and bringing a brand to life visually. You'll work closely with our founders and creative team to help execute marketing campaigns, launch new products, maintain our website, and create beautiful customer-facing content that reflects the Freshwater brand.
We're looking for someone who is organized, creative, proactive, and excited to help grow a lifestyle brand inspired by life on the water.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and build weekly retail and wholesale email campaigns
• Create graphics, layouts, and supporting visual assets for emails
• Monitor email performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain and update the Freshwater website on a regular basis
• Upload new products, collections, and photography
• Create homepage banners and collection pages
• Update website copy, graphics, and promotional content
• Ensure products are merchandised and categorized properly
• Assist with seasonal website refreshes and launches
• Assist with execution of the Freshwater marketing calendar
• Help coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns
• Organize marketing assets, photography, and creative files
• Assist with photoshoot preparation and content organization
• Support retail events and brand initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graphic design experience
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and branding
• Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written communication skills
• Must have your own computer & a reliable vehicle
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required):
• Email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
• Shopify website management
• Product merchandising experience
• Basic photography and photo editing skills
•Experience working for a retail, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brand
