ROLE OVERVIEW

Freshwater Curated Goods is a small batch manufacturer and creative studio crafting over 200 handmade, coastal-inspired products. From personalized bag charms and keychains to jewelry and apparel, our growing team produces goods for our downtown storefront, online shop, and over 2,000 wholesale retail partners across the country.

We’re looking for a Production Assistant to join our vibrant, all-women production crew in our brand-new Augusta facility. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and perfect for someone who loves creative, behind-the-scenes work and wants to be part of a fast-paced and growing small business. Whether you're interested in arts, manufacturing, or entrepreneurship, this is a great opportunity to learn how a product-based business runs from the inside out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with daily product finishing (assembling keychains, pet tags, bag charms, jewelry, packaging apparel, etc.)
• Tag, clean, organize, and package Freshwater and Swim In Jewelry products
• Pack and ship wholesale and online retail orders with care and attention to presentation
• Monitor and restock supply inventory as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized production space (sweeping, trash, tool cleaning, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

Freshwater Curated Goods is growing — and we’re officially moving into our brand new, much larger flagship storefront in downtown Augusta! Our new space will showcase more apparel, changing rooms, and expanded product lines from both Freshwater and our sister brand Swim In Jewelry.

We’re looking for a warm, detail-oriented Retail Associate who will help create an unforgettable in-store experience. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a beautifully merchandised and tidy space, providing top-tier customer service, handling retail inventory, and shipping all online retail orders for both Freshwater and Swim In Jewelry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Experience & Shopkeeping

• Greet customers warmly and offer helpful, friendly assistance
• Guide customers through our product offerings, including apparel, accessories, and gift items
• Inform customers of promotions and policies
• Process purchases and handle returns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully styled storefront (sweeping, dusting, restocking, watering plants, etc.)
• Set up and refresh in-store displays and window merchandising

Inventory & Operations

• Accept incoming deliveries and packages
• Tag, label, and input new inventory into our system
• Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled

Shipping & Fulfillment

• Package and ship all retail orders from our website (Freshwater & Swim In Jewelry)
• Ensure orders go out in a timely, accurate, and well-presented manner
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Positive, bubbly attitude and great communication skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Able to follow direction and take initiative
• Reliable and punctual — weekend availability required
• 18+ years old

With the launch of our newly renovated storefront in downtown Augusta, we’re looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team and help us grow our digital presence.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  
• Work closely with our creative team to brainstorm fresh content ideas that fit our coastal + nautical aesthetic.
  
• Support photography, video, and behind-the-scenes content for new products and shop events.
  
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and tags.
  
• Help track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and provide simple weekly insights.
  
• Stay current on social media trends, especially within retail, lifestyle, and coastal brands.
