ROLE OVERVIEW

Freshwater Curated Goods is a small batch manufacturer of leather goods and acrylic accessories, crafting over 300 different products by hand. Freshwater is a unique space where it joins together a production workspace and retail storefront. Our production team of young women work hard to craft our beautiful goods, fulfill orders from our online website, storefront and over 1600+ wholesale retail partners. If you are pursuing a career in the arts and/or business with a desire to be immersed in the process of running a small wholesale, online & retail business, this is a great opportunity and we would love to meet you!

The Production Studio Assistant position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of the production process of creating and completing Freshwater-made products. We are looking for someone who is hard working, eager to learn our processes, detail-oriented and a problem solver with a passion for small business to assist with every day studio production & retail storefront tasks. The right person should have an optimistic mindset and a willingness to learn from our management team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong work ethic
Enjoys creative work with their hands
Willing to be an integral part of the production team
Must be able to manage their time efficiently
Must be very detail-oriented
Problem-solving skills are essential, working smarter is key
Must have a reliable vehicle
One Saturday a month availability is required to work in our retail storefront
Genuinely a people person with a positive attitude.

DUTIES:

Daily tasks where you "finish" Freshwater-made products (tagging, cleaning, assembling, packaging)
Help keep track of job supply inventory
Keeping work area clean and organized to increase efficiency

TIME: 25 +/- hours a week

SCHEDULE: TBD - Available one Saturday a month is required.

LOCATION: Augusta, GA

PAY: $12/hour
